Pain Management

Each individual's pain experience is unique. We combine advanced, image-guided interventional procedures with medication management and holistic therapies — so your treatment plan fits your pain, not a template.

Who we help

You don't have to live on pain pills, and you don't have to jump straight to surgery. Dr. Wik specializes in the middle path: precise diagnosis, then targeted treatment. You should see a pain specialist if you:

  • Have chronic pain lasting longer than 2–4 months
  • Have tried conservative treatments with little relief
  • Need long-term care coordinated between specialties
  • Require interventional procedures a family doctor can't provide

Frequently asked questions

How soon can I be seen?
We can usually schedule your initial appointment within two weeks. Insurance authorization varies — some take a few days, others a few weeks; our staff handles it and verifies coverage before scheduling.
Do the procedures hurt?
Most procedures take ten to fifteen minutes, and the vast majority of our patients say they're relatively painless.
Do you take my insurance? What about workers' comp?
In most cases MYPAINDOC is an in-network provider with most insurances, and yes — we treat workers' compensation cases (treatment requires authorization before scheduling). We verify your coverage before your visit.
Will this cost less than the hospital?
Often dramatically. As one patient shared: "My amount went from $1,582 per injection to around $300, and I only had to pay my $25 copay the day of service."
